I Got A Job!

Wow thanks again for all the good wishes... it just starting to sink in that I actually have a job starting in a little over 2 weeks, up until now it's just seemed like a dream basically. I haven't had a job since... I can't even remember. I'm 23 only so it can't have been that long, but it seems like several years.

Lisa, I'm glad it made you smile, and yes I don't think I could have gotten a better offer, especially since I wasn't even looking for work. If I believed in God or fate I would say it was something like that at work, but in reality, maybe it was just my talent...wow. Still I can't believe it. Anthony you're not surprised, my family isn't either, but I still am. Thanls for encouraging me in any case.

Well done Evie good to hear, and from Nugget & Humphrey you go f--k that dog. Then slip down to Tim Hortons and have a coffee and send me the bill

LOL thanks nugget. I don't think I'll actually get a chance to **** the dog much once my job starts, I'm going to have to turn out 28-32 pages a month. But I can still go to Tim Hortons... so where do I send the bill?? ;)

Hey Evie i spoke to Humphrey last night he said he was willing to be wrapped up with some money tightly held in his little paw and sent on a holiday to see you and join you for a cup of Tim Hortons. We just need to know where you live as Humphrey is to young to travel by him self so we have to wrap him and send him as a parcel. He also whispered in my ear, hes a little bit scared if you cant find a dog will you promise to gentle with him.

that's awesome, great opportunity. I red that the evie's collection is from your hand, so somebody recognized your talent. You're really good at what you do. I can understand you're shyness about reveiling your work. It's always difficult I think to value ones own work. And friends and family aren't the real objective ones :-) Glad somebody in the business is telling you in his/her way how great you are.

OH yes Evie we are sure Humphrey wants to come and visit, he has his little suitcase packed his pocket money and his visa all ready he just needs the knod from you and hes on his way. He has been walking around the house all week saying IM ONLY F---ING THE DOG in all different accents so he will fit in when he gets there.

Promotion.

Evie is taking a break from all but her diary at the moment. However. Wanted to boast that she received a promotion this morning. One of her coworkers quit abruptly. She was offered his position. Higher paying and more responsibility. She is showing herself to be an excellent worker, very professional. We are extremely proud.
