I just got off the phone with an employment specialist who started off our conversation by noting the vast array of valuable skills I have acquired. She indicated that I shouldn't have any trouble finding work, at all. She strongly suggested federal jobs. I rolled with it. What they don't know yet is the reason I will find a job ?
Recovery is a wild ride. Twenty years ago, I was picking scabs in a group therapy waiting room hoping the therapist didn't hurt my feelings in front of the group again - nearly homeless and living with a schizophrenia diagnosis. Things have changed a whole hellova lot.
Let me just say, life is good. Confusing and in flux, but really good.
