Relationship I Have A Question...

Does anyone else get ridiculous time frames that your partner with PTSD puts on you.. My boyfriend of 4 years seems to love to give me short amounts of time to get things done. Its not even stuff I am doing for us. Its stuff that I am doing for him.. Like running errands or getting things sent out to get fixed. It seems like he always wants things done right away.. Sometimes even when it is not convient for me, and I do them, because it is easier to do them, then to argue with him. I was wondering is this common, does anyone else have to deal with that?

I have to agree. Not everything can be blamed on PTSD. Some things are just character flaws that a person would possess with or without PTSD.

While in relationships you have to pick your battles.... Did you realise that choosing to meet the unreasonable demands versus saying no is somewhat enabling behaviour on your behalf?

Does your partner have a military background? Military personnel can find it difficult to adjust to life in civvy street but we are not in the military now.

Take care of yourself somewhatstellar.
