Medical I Have Lyme Disease And Now I Have Been Diagnosed With Shingles

Oh @SheliaKathy I had shingles a few years back and it was terribly painful. I feel for you that you have had so much to wrong lately. Thinking of you today.

Hoping you have a speedy recovery. You're in my thoughts for sure. Haven't had shingles myself, though I had chicken pox when I was 3. It's the only thing I remember from that age, it's not a fond memory either.

Lots of rest and fluids. Hope it's not too bad for you.

I am going to another Dr. in a few weeks. I may be able to get more help from them. I had already set the appointment up with them, when I was diagnosed with this, so hopefully they have more answers for me than just Tylenol and shots in my joints! Thanks everyone for your prayers, keep 'em coming. Never can be too many prayers for someone or something!

I did something to cheer me up too, but I have no idea if it is something that I should have done. I was never able to have a baby due to the Lyme Disease. I had numerous miscarriages. In fact, the only sure way of contagion for Lyme is from mother to unborn child. My husband never got it from me, for instance.

Anyway, I have ordered by mail a lifelike baby doll. She is from Paradise Galleries and costs a bit more than I should have paid for her, but I am paying for her in 3 payments, so I can afford it. I will be naming her Adora, which means Adoration. I feel that is an appropriate name for her. I was thinking of naming her after one of my relatives, but decided against it. I have named all my miscarried babies too, so when I get to Heaven, they will all have those names, as far as I know. I even posted their names on my Facebook Page. I listed them as my children. This way I can never forget their names. I have lost all my belongings before, so this seemed like the best place to keep their names safe, as well as in my memory, which often fails me due to the Lyme Disease. I hope and pray that they like their names! I will not find this out until I get there....
