I like your thinking Deer but if I put what you and Ayesha said together it is a little concerning as she thinks singles clubs are full of nerds...... if that's the case and Anthony is sitting in the corner, does that leave us with no-one to hit on other than those 'nerds' in the corner?

Damn catch 22 if that is the case as I would then have to try and hit on my husband and I don't currently know if I would win against the iPad.

I have been thinking of getting a kindle...Then I could carry around my books (so to speak) and read them whenever I want.

Kindle? Nook? IPad?

I looked into all this, and there are vast differences. iPad should not even be considered if all you want is a ebook reader $$$$. Kindle is Amazon only, so you are limited to their releases, but it is cheap. iPad, you can download a free kindle app, which allows you to buy all the kindle versions and read them on your iPad... but iPad is not an ereader, it is a tablet PC for the most part... really a big screen iphone is probably more apt, without the ability to make calls.

Not sure what Nook is.

I love amazon, and think kindle would the best for me. Cheaper and just for reading is good for me.

Nook is the barnes and noble version of kindle...

Great thread! I have a kindle, an excellent understanding of computer technology. So why is it I can't figure out how to buy a kindle book on the forum, and get it into my kindle.

Does one use their amazon account, thru the sight or is their a magic button? I want it to be recognized in my purchased books in case it the kindle drops it. Off to the help desk!
