Can I add flowers to this sanctuary of WC's .. ? :):inlove:

@Ronin , don't know if it's helpful, but what I do (because they all say to go where there are people, but malls, even coffee shops can be too much for me), is I go to a R.Catholic church. I am RC, but just speaking for those, because that's all I know, many are open long hours, usually there are people who come and go, or stay a long time (esp if trying to maintain sobriety, or such). The thing is, you can walk all over, get up, sit down, go to the back, the front, light a candle, sit, go outside, come back. I say prayers or say prayers for the people who are saying their prayers, for their needs. Nobody butts in/ questions, normally. Also they say an RC Mass is good for ADHD people because you're always moving, up down etc. But really, they don't care who you are or what you believe. Often downtown churches are open a lot too. Really uncommon and sort of not the place for SI or self-harming actions.

Also it helps me to walk, so instead of down the highway ( ) a better choice would be the zoo, or common attractions (but I would avoid bridges).

I don't think you should be angry at yourself for posting, I think that is progress. Supposedly we are to say 3-7 nice things to ourself for every insult; I couldn't keep up. Seriously. :(

Hugs to you and I think you would/ Will make a phenomenal doctor.

Yeah I tried churches already / different congregations than the regular one I go to or used to go to, and also zoos and parks, just the normal grounding right now no clicks, however much I'd like it to.

3-7 things? Gee f*ck, I have one, and it's I still didn't lose my keys. :D

Cool. One more than me! ??

Yes well I'm thinking churches outside of 'regular' hours. But maybe the keys is 'sanctuary', for me that is one, also beauty, beaches, open road, dogs, sometimes little kids.

An animal shelter to walk a pup? Short interaction, walk is on your own.

any idea of low key lockups?
What bridges the gap between going to ground & going on vacation?

Half the time the first one looks like the second, anyway, done right. What shifts from looks like, to feels like? What can start out necessary and transition into fun?

Maaaaybe even a scouting trip... looking for places that aren’t needed? Mountain cabin, city hostel with good vibe, tiny village where every traveller is noticed and word gets back to you, to ultraurban tourist zones where no one notices anything? Good places to disappear to? Places to rest up & strengthen up? Lay out a few patterns to have in your back pocket? ((What did you do on your vacation? Found places I wanna go back to.)) <<< This might just be me, though. I have an unholy fixation with going exploring and rally points. Almost never used them, but I start to feel trapped -like cuff me to this radiator, before I lose my damn mind, if you want me to stay put- without them.

Snort. Was just about to answer 'movement. Like enough on the move things reshuffle and start filing life to life right, no matter who's around, just cruise through.'

Currently? Don't trust myself with too much of that / not going wild. Correction, *I'm* molto bene with. Having fun. Headsp are irritated af and busy passports hiding.

But that's not really an answer yet. More thinking aloud I reckon.

Flowing water. Preferably being in it, or at least in contact with it.
On the very rare occasions when it's logistically possible? I build a fire. Small. Comfy chair, with a stick to poke at the ashes.

Both involve movement and sound, but Mother Nature's version of 'chaos', which, although constantly changing, is somehow incredibly peaceful inside a chaotic human brain.
