I Realize That I

I realise that I need to do lots of practice for managing my comfort eating.

I realized that when my relationship is on the rocks, I often sabotage my happiness by comfort eating and staying in pain ruminating & in depression. Today is a new attitude, I will not be afraid of facing forward with or without him.

That is a good place to be coming from @Recovery4Me. To be able to go forward without fear of whether your relationship is there or not is a solid place to continue to return to - as many times as you need to.

I have improved, but I realise that I have to stop giving into helplessness and hopelessness so easily.

I realise that I am SO angry!

I realize that I have to stop spending money. I don't "need" these things that I am buying. They are all wants. It makes me feel good at the time, but I am not going to feel good if our bank balance is low. Have to figure out why I'm doing this crazy stuff. It is feeding some deep need in me.

I realise that I need to stand up to my siblings, regardless of the cost to the relationships. I can't continue ignoring my needs and wants just because it's incovenient to them. I realise I have never said no to them before.

I realise that I have to keep hanging in there and doing stuff.

I realize that I am the poor one of the family of siblings. Just going to have to adjust to that. I hate it though.

@Britt.f7 we of the first world have wealth and luxury (such as fresh running water) that 1 in 6 on this planet don't have. Can you shift your focus to what you do have today? You live in America so you (most likely) have fresh water, transport, food to eat, medical care, access to education, family, friend?

I realise that I have to stay really focused on my work. I realise that B is very, very tired, down and depressed about caretaking his father, but he won't admit him to himself.

I realize that I still have problems to ask for help or to admit that I don't have good day.
