I realize:
1. Needs, or not meeting them, is much different than wants, which not meeting them doesn't have the same repercussions. And the repercussions eventually surface somewhere, even if ignored, minimized or denied.
2. I think I'm starting to understand better the insidious ways things like hypervigilance etc manifest themselves or complicate daily life; the difference between explanations on paper vs the mind and body's (re)actions hidden in less blatantly obvious ways, but very obvious to me when I actually notice them & question to what degree are they accurate (actually necessary) to the present moment.
