Of ALL members here, I have found your posts most challenging and most effective at getting me (eventually) to begin thinking in different ways. Genuinely to begin with some of your replies to me made me fume for 24 hours straight (ish)

Your posts no longer get 'catch' me though, rather make me think. And having once felt I hated you I have become very fond of you indeed.

I realize I will never comfortably "fit in" in most spaces I used to believe I really needed to, or even simply wanted to, and I'm beginning to realize that's very necessary, albeit not always pleasant. Yet another chance to remember and reflect on why the windshield is bigger than the rear-view mirror. I certainly can't go back and gather broken pieces of others for others....I'm lucky if I can recognize and gather my own.

Accepting all parts of yourself is a skill. Mentalization/reflection/empathy it's a skill. Being present is a skill. All things I missed can be learned.
