Hi folks, I just wanted to mention that there is an application for Android and iPhones called iChill. It's in the Apple store and the Android market. My therapist pointed me to it and I'm downloading it for my phone right now. (It was created by the Trauma Resource Institute.)

There are exercises you can use to strengthen inner resources for calming and grounding when you're not in a triggered state, and it will help you get in touch with positive resources and techniques when you're in a difficult spot.

It's free to download.

Thanks for the recommendation; this is a really great tool.

But I need to know... image 2 in "Resiliency Images--how did they get my chart? ;)

More seriously, looking at that image, I wonder if it couldn't look like this?

Like stuck at both extremes simultaneously in rapidly recurring patterns with tiny valleys of calm in between? Or maybe I am usually amped up and anxious but it's deceptively depression-flavored.

Edit: in my graphic there all the lines are supposed to line up but spacing rules for the site aren't showing the gaps, so pretend all vertical lines match up :)

I've just downloaded the IChill ap, but haven't played with it yet. I'm a bit of a technophobe... could someone give a brief explanation of the PTSD coach? Or any other useful or relevant aps that anyone might have come across? I'm curious...
