sadly Ronin, the main reason I am not a caped crusader is the distinct lack of funds for this kind of vlifestyle chic. I like to imagine if I had a Batmobile I would no longer be nervous, or morally challenged and righting wrongs would feel like justice rather than taking the law into my own hands. I could capture criminals, and employ an amazing team of engineers and health and safety professionals to identify aprofessionals filings for a safer world.

As it is I am thinking about starting a campaign and planning a conference in stead. Not as cool, huh?

I would do the thing I usually do all dressed in my mostly green and sit down with a coffee while taking notes. Or share the leaflets along. Besides, less catching cold, pneumonia and other bugs than nights out. Also less slipping, cursing the boots adhesion and other uh, unheroic things.

Awww @Ronin, in this case, it truly is the thoughts that count. !!! To know you would help us to just go crazy , have fun, buy things we don't need but WANT for a change !!! To not worry the lights would be cut off for a simple little splurge.... This just makes my heart all wobbly and a few extra beats...If we could use hearts for money, yours would get us a lot of goodies.... Fluffy hugs to you... you make me smile !

Just start walking and never look back, just leave it all behind. I have always wanted to do this. Meet people all over the country. Carry a back pack and just enjoy the scenery and the people. If I lived a long time, I could see every state in the union (USA).

We do it quite a bit but my parameters have changed.

If it's a liberty to you and your life offers it... Why not take it as vacation options?

We have a couple of ’vanners’ we gave thought about getting a caravan for them. We reckon we could get as far as Our favourite local town and back on a holiday

My retired neighbour regularly cycles 100-150 miles a day.. I rarely cover that much in a week. I fil.my car once a month I think?

I can walk OK, (in my mid 60s) but biking is not an option because of both knees being in kind of rough shape. I have walked all my life, so walking is the way I really should go. I do have a small back pack. Maybe next weekend I will take a day trip across town and back or something. It is a thought.
