This "trekki" thread submarined fast! When my wife and I were going to school, we had a second hand TV and only one station. The station manager must have been a dyed-in-the-wool original Trek fan, cause it was on all the time. It got to the point my wife and I would recite everyone's lines before they did. It was really funny to hear my wife do James T. Kirk in this phony deep voice.

What really blew me away was an interview with Lenaord Nimoy I watched once. He's really quite brilliant. When he talked astro-physics, he knew what he was talking about. Wow! An actor with brains!
