I met a great guy from a dating site about a month ago. So far it seems to be going well but I'm still battling a LOT of insecurity & distrust. I really like him. He's intelligent, successful, kind & generous. My only issue is that I don't feel worthy of such a great guy & I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop.:cautious:

I met a guy online 3 weeks ago. I've been on 3 dates with him so far. All in which I met him in a public place. He has never been to my house and dont know where I live. He seems amazing. But were taking things extremly slow. Like Saphy says there are not always nightmare stories. But you have to be very catious and know how to weed out the creeps.

Yeah, there's always gonna be those people. That's why it's so important to be careful & don't be afraid to make sure he is who/what he says he is.

And that goes for people you meet in real as well as the net.

I know exactly what you mean. Because we both now how little or no respect we will not get from them. And some family members are known to lie, cheat, steal etc etc.

Some families are sadistic and down right evil. Mine is one of them. Sounds like yours isn't that crash hot either.
