Do we want to start a wager on what it means? We could make this more fun. I still stand with Clinical Expertise but might be swayed to go with "cocaine exporter" or possibly "canine eventer". Sorry, I am bored today.

I was certainly concerned that a member would feel unable to speak about something like that without showing who they were. I didn't see it as "bad" or "wrong" in the sense of judgement but personally felt it would be unhealthy for them. I was just being helpful but shan't report anything like that again. As you said it was done out of care.

CE is "continuing education". Look for that not claims of clinical expertise (unless well-documented by other patients or referrals). I've found shrinks lie like the Devil when it comes to "expertise". Too many shrinks I've found treat anything just for the money and thereby could care less about the patient. In 13 prior shrinks, I had one turn me down and was honest. Only one I had dealt with my issues really and she dumped me a week after I found out I was raped. Now, I know that triggered abandonment issues from the past and there was no trust when I saw her again for a few months (a year and two horrible shrinks later). Money (lots and lots of it) was her god anyway. She does lots of court cases to keep rich kids out of juvenile hall at $300+ an hour. If they say, "I'm in court a lot" that's what they do. My advice is to avoid those unless you have a problem kid. lol

So far, I can't find a therapist here to take Rumors up on the offer. The one that is good and sounds good for what I have is booked and not accepting new patients her answering machine said. I can't win for losing it seems.
