I took the Fur Sisters in to be groomed first thing this morning and it's so empty in the house that it's really kind of spooky!

I planned on doing a number of things but all I want is to get them back home. :(
How can a little 13lbs terror umm terrier-mix and 70lbs doberman/shep/lab-mix fill this home and my life so completely during the sometimes long dark days???

.........well, they just do! I miss them. I will post the freshly scrubbed and manicured Girls once I get them back, until them I'll try not to listen to the echos of a creaking hollow home.

freshly groomed.webp
Thank you Solo! :)

I was amazed at how attached I've become since I didn't think it was possible after I had lost my last long time Girl and these two are very different, as am I, but yesterday caught me knocking around like ghost left behind. When I went to pick them up Big Girl came and immediately jumped up face to face with me smothering me big old doggie licks and Rudi was talking a mile a minute HA!

Of course when I went to take their pictures after getting home they immediately start poising, God forbid anyone should see how wacky they really are

Rain what adorable dogs. You are very lucky to have 2. 2 are more fun and better company. I used to have 2 dogs but I had to get rid of them when we moved in with my daughter. I have 1 dog now and she is precious to me. She makes me laugh, and she gets annoying at times, but it is good. she brings alot of life into my home. I am so glad you have them. They make such a difference with their unconditional love. I love my dog. She is jeolous of the cat. Even though they are friends.

Thank you for posting the pictures, they are so cute. Have a wonderful day with them.

Looks like you have "trained" them well with the camera!
HA! You would think I trained them but noooo, they even see a camera or the phone come out and they "assume the position"! To catch them in the act of being themselves I have to sneak up on them.

I'm glad you enjoyed the photos, they are truly so much fun and when they tear through the house playing tag it's a riot!

Yeah, my cat is the opposite. When she is doing something really cute or adorable (which is quite often!) she stops as soon as the camera comes out. Then she usually sticks her face right in the camera, making it impossible to get a good shot of her. I had to actually hold her in my lap with one hand and take the pic on the computer with the other just to get my profile pic with her!

I love that you have these fun and handsome pups to keep you company. I don't know what I'd do without my monster. He makes me laugh, keeps me company and is just a huge clown. I love snuggling with him at night. Pictures, well, he just moves too much and too fast for me to get a good one most of the time!

Crazytrain, I'm loving the way your kitty is giving you "the look" for making her a part of the photo!

Sammy, wow, so great to see you! I bet your big boy is one active guy, my Big Girl has finally settled down quite a bit, however, come camera time she refuses to show anything but this look, silly girl!
