Joyful sounds - Woke up today and realised how much I love the sound of Bellbirds !
Anyone here misses or loves a joyful sound?

I used to live near a steam railway and I loved it when the trains would chug passed the window.

Some days, they did dinner on the trains, so especially at the weekends, you'd be sitting up in bed listening to the train moving and the whistle blowing- Lovely!

I love bells, train whistles, water lapping gently on the dock, and small birds tweeting. Also the dog 'talking', though Shepherds don't talk much. Funny, much as I love music I also love silence. Especially summer early mornings with a few little birds tweeting or singing. Also small children laughing in general. And the dog snoring!

Dawn chorus (when the birds first wake up in the morning), it's beautiful

I also forgot cat's purring and babies when they make those goo goo sounds. awww so cute!

I'm in two minds about children's laughter, Yes it is a nice sound, but also it reminds me of stuff I never got to experience

joyful noise is my passion. birdsong gets my vote as the most joyful noise on the planet. whether i'm just going to bed, just getting up or just rolling over, i like to be alert and listening for the morning bird concert which happens every dawn here in the subtropics. even on the dreary, stormy days, they sound grateful to have met the dawn of the day.

Ours hide in the storms @arfie . But when they come out you know the storm is over.

I saw a science show, they have a version of Singing in the Shower, when they skip notes and such.
