hi Packers-

i'm having a crummy day also.
it's freeeezing here in ny, a lot of my problems step from experiences in the winter and so sometimes it seems as all of winter is like a soft trigger, especially the sounds of walking on the snow...

what's on your mind?

Thank you for replying.I feel so alone.NONE OF THE MEDS i AM TAKING ARE WORKING.i AM LOSING MY GRIP ON LIFE. cAN YOU GUYS HELP ME?

You are in a good place for support and encouragement and for a lot of information and knowledge. Let us know a little something about you - maybe something about feeling low and weak. I have a hell of a lot of experience with that. We'll see what we can do.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum.

You can share here, so we know how to support you, and you will get a response from many, or if you're not able to bring up the tough stuff right now, I recommend reading some of the funny stuff that is on here. There are lots of cute posts in Chat-General Success Stories, and in the Polls section. We all have side dialogues going on oftentimes that are good for a laugh.
I hope you find what you need on here. Opening up is very important though, because it not only helps you, through exposure, but helps us get a sense of who you are so we can say the right things.

The community here is a great one, and we're all willing to lend a hand when we can.

Take care.

For me, the first post I ever read on here pulled me right in. It is called "What Never To Say To A PTSD Sufferer", and it can be found under Chat PTSD it is so honest, but gets sarcastic, and down-right funny at times, I laughed so hard in that thread. I laughed, and identified, with everyone's comments there, and within a week, I was a member on the forum. I've been on about a month and a half, and I can't express how much help I have received.

I hear you. When I first came to this site about a fourteen months ago, I started a thread called Isolation- Struggling to Meet New Friends. I was so alone then. Now I not only have friends on the forum but I have real life friends too. I have grown and changed so much since coming here it is almost impossible to describe! I am so grateful for this site. Now I watch other people come on here and begin to grow and change from very desperate people to ones with hope and courage beyond words.

You can be a part of that process of growing and changing. All you gotta do is read a little and post a little when you are ready and things start to change gradually and before you know it you will be filled with hope too.

Let us get to know you a bit and we will keep you company, offer you hope and more.

Take good care, Morgan

Thanks you guys so much for your supportive replies and encouragement.
It was just what I needed.
I did see the thread about what not to say to a ptsd sufferer and found it very funny and enlightening.
It is what made me join.
I feel very good about having found you guys and will be posting again when I feel a litttle better as things are a little rough right now
Thanks again for being there.

Good to see you back! Sounds like things are tough these days. It can get better, and this forum is one thing that can help. I'll look forward to seeing you again whenever you feel able.
