I am a believer in Creatine for helping muscles "grow". It really helps in allowing the nutrients pass through the cell wall in a more efficient manner. I personal like the Creatine HCL instead of the monohydrate. Plus with HCL you do not need to ingest sugar to work. Of course muscle gain can happen without any supplements but if I were to choose one supplement (not counting protein) Creatine HCL would be my choice. But everybody is different.
