Know Any Stirring Lyrics?

I don't know what it says about me that this song makes me happier than should be possible...but yeah.

This is like the most passive way in the world to vent.

We'll do away with your kind
Countdown to exterminate the human race
4, 3, 2, 1

Let chaos entwine
On defenceless soil
Remove errors of man
And sweep all the weakening kind

I am war, I am pain
I am all you've ever slain
I am tears in your eyes
I am grief, I am lies

Bygone are tolerance
And presence of grace
Scavengers are sent out
To cleanse the human filth parades

I am pure, I am true
I am all over you
I am laugh, I am smile
I am the earth defiled

I am the cosmic storms
I am the tiny worms
I am fear in the night
I am bringer of light

Earth successfully erased

Puritania- Dimmu Borgir.

Nothing like imagining blowing up the whole earth to get you over your anger.

Actually Dimmu Borgir just cleanses my soul...and I'm not joking.

Right now for me

Its the verve - One Day

I dont know all the lyrics but the ones that inspire me are

You gotta tie yourself to the mast my frind - the storm WILL end

And ... cant you see there is beauty in life...

Actually to be honest the whole album - Urban Hymns is kewl

"Blessings in Shades of Green" -Rod Mckuen

Jack Frost, isn’t it something-
Something to be seen?
The long tall grass
waving in August...
blessings in shades of green.

Jack Frost, soft in the morning,
things aren’t what they seem.
A long time coming,
long time going
blessings in shades of green.

If I could fly
I’d never sail.
I’d trap the moon
above the water
in a pail.

Jack Frost, where have you gone to
with your midnight dream?
Didn’t you promise
to turn me on to
blessings in shades of green?

If I could fly
I’d never sail.
I’d trap the moon
above the water
in a pail.

Jack Frost, where have you gone to
with your midnight dream?
Didn’t you promise
to turn me on to
blessings in shades of green?

The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy) - Simon & Garfunkel

Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy.

Hello lamppost,
What cha knowing?
I've come to watch your flowers growing.
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
Doot-in' doo-doo,
Feelin' groovy.

Got no deeds to do,
No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me.
Life, I love you,
All is groovy.

"Bad Day" - Daniel Powter

Where is the moment we needed the most?
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
They tell me your blue skies fade to grey
They tell me your passion's gone away
And I don't need no carryin' on

You stand in the line just to hit a new low
You're faking a smile with the coffee to go
You tell me your life's been way off line
You're falling to pieces everytime
And I don't need no carryin' on

Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

Well you need a blue sky holiday
The point is they laugh at what you say
And I don't need no carryin' on

You had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
(Oh.. Holiday..)

Sometimes the system goes on the blink
And the whole thing turns out wrong
You might not make it back and you know
That you could be well oh that strong
And I'm not wrong YaYyyy

So where is the passion when you need it the most?
Oh you and I
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost

Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
You've seen what you like
And how does it feel for one more time
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

Had a bad day
Had a bad day
Had a bad day
Had a bad day
Had a bad day

If you can read these lyrics and listen to the song at the same time...well it helps me some to remember......just soo cool.

Oh and here's the video link if you would like it.... youtube.com/watch?v=hUeLrbxjq5Q

This is a cute vid. But please read and listen first if you can ...then watch it again if you want, it is kind of sweet, (maybe sickly) but kind of real lovely too, unless you have a broken heart and then maybe it could just be hopeful ? Please read and enjoy, I hope you do.

Tool Schism

I know the pieces fit cuz I watched them fall away
Mildewed and smoldering, fundamental differing,
Pure intention juxtaposed will set two lovers souls in motion
Disintegrating as it goes testing our communication
The light that fueled our fire then has burned a hole between us so
We cannot see to reach an end crippling our communication.

I know the pieces fit cuz I watched them tumble down
No fault, none to blame it doesnt mean I dont desire to
Point the finger, blame the other, watch the temple topple over.
To bring the pieces back together, rediscover communication.

The poetry that comes from the squaring off between,
And the circling is worth it.
Finding beauty in the dissonance.

There was a time that the pieces fit, but I watched them fall away.
Mildewed and smoldering, strangled by our coveting
Ive done the the math enough to know the dangers of a second guessing
Doomed to crumble unless we grow, and strengthen our communication

Cold silence has a tendency to atrophy any sense of compassion

Between supposed lovers
Between supposed lovers.

And I know the pieces fit.

Unwritten - Natasha Bedinfield

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you can not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you can not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you can not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten

Dylan I love this song thank you for posting it here.
It is easy to forget the things that move you when it has been so long. God I have missed music in my life. So easy to forget...and then when it starts to come back you wonder how you ever lost it. How you ever let it go. Or even how they prized it from my cold fingers...sorry too much. I just feel some warmth coming back into my life again. Something good.

Thankyou

Fin - great song! They have long been among my favorite artists.

Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy.

I wonder what are stress levels would be like if we did actually do this? If Western commercial society did? A whole lot better I would think.

Thankyou Danger...I kind of did this - this afternoon...and it felt good, felt really good. I was a crazzy ass...today!! hah!! and it felt great. (I had to make myself do it though...totally out of that comfort zone)-still felt really good. smiles

At one point -years ago...I would hear this in my head as I left to get out of where ever I was at the time...just brilliant these guys. Too cool for words.

"Dry The Rain" - The Beta Band

This is the definition of my life
Lying in a bed in the sunlight
Choking on the vitamin tablet
The doctor gave in the hope of saving me
In the hope of saving me

Walked in the corner of the room
A junk yard fool with eyes of gloom
I asked him time again
Take me in and dry the rain
Take me in and dry the rain
Take me in and dry the rain
Take me in and dry the rain the rain
The rain, the rain, the rain now

Dusty brown boots in the corner
By the ironing board
Spray on dust is the greatest thing
Sure is the greatest thing
Since the last....
since the last.

Walked in the corner of the room
A junk yard fool with eyes of gloom
I asked him time again
Take me in and dry the rain
Take me in and dry the rain
Take me in and dry the rain
Take me in and dry the rain the rain
The rain the rain the rain now

I asked him time again
Take me in and dry the rain
Take me in and dry the rain
Take me in and dry the rain
Take me in and dry the rain
The rain the rain the rain now

If there's something inside that you wanna say
Say it out loud it'll be okay
I will be your light
I will be your light
I will be your light
I will be your light

If there's something inside that you wanna say
Say it out loud it'll be okay
I will be your light
I will be your light
I will be your light
I will be your light

I Need Love, yeah
I Need Love

ba ba ba ba, ba ba ba ba ba ba ba...........

If there's something inside that you wanna say
Say it out loud it'll be okay
I will be your light
I will be your light
I will be your light
I will be your light

If there's something inside that you wanna say
Then Say it out loud it will be okay
I will be your light
I will be your light
I will be your light
I will be your light
