I had real trouble finding this; "Four Walled World", but I would like to thankyou it has opened me up to another songwriter and their music.

Today, well this afternoon I have put on "Scouting for Girls" and I can't help but want to get up and spring around my room here.

God knows I so didn't want to, but just putting the album on I found it got into me, and I am so glad I did now. Maybe some of this "stuff" will lift better now.

I'm a big Chris Cornell fan. He started in Soundgarden in the late 80's, then moved on to solo stuff, then joined RATM band members and formed Audioslave, then went solo again. You might be interested to hear his remake of Michael Jackson's Billy Jean, it's a whole different song. I also recommend Like A Stone, Black Hole Sun, The Day I Tried To Live and When I'm Down. His new album is Scream.

Four Walled World is on a great CD called Temple of the Dog, a tribute to a friend who died of an overdose. Great songs on that.

I'm Going Hungry is another powerful tune off the Temple album with Vedar. Powerful, powerful stuff. I loved Cornell in Audioslave as well, and Soundgarden's first album woah, what a masterpiece!!! Not that the one with Black Hole Sun is anything to sniff at either, I just loved the raw energy of Outshined and such.

fin, I usually find the videos on youtube, just googling the titles. You can catch Chris there doing Led Zepplin covers too. Great stuff.

Dave, I LOVE Outshined, and New Damage and Mind Riot. Their first 2 albums were Screaming Life/FOPP and Flower. Then came Ultramega OK with a cover of Smokestack Lightening which is great. I finally found a CD they released in Japan with my two favs that were supposed to go on album number 4 Loud Love, 'Heretic' and 'Fresh Deadly Roses'. Then came your fav Badmotorfinger which was then re-released with an extra disc with Black Sabbath and Rolling Stone covers. Superunknown is my least fav but Love's Like Suicide is good, and better unplugged. Album 5, Down on the Upside is very good. I really like the song Override.

Have you ever seen them live and do you also like Alice in Chains? I saw AIC just before the singer died. Seen SG three times.
