Sigh, maybe tomorrow ;)

Post Office did not have a box the size I want. Checking a store tonight. I'll keep you posted.

I got a box after all! This is what the package looks like. I taped something over the addresses so I could take the picture. It will be shipped today, 2/27/13.

God speed, Kris Cucezuf package and may you find your way to prime-no safely this time. :)

A few things.

I would love to know about the translation. Frankly, at first I was not sure about the recipient and their ability to understand what I wrote. I have read things obviously translated to English and know that the message can get a little mixed up, LOL

I know this seems crazy but I am not certain now what the necklace is. Pretty sure it was a replica bear claw or a wolf claw. I purchased it at the gift shop at the Ohio Historical Society's museum associated with the Serpent Mound, a American Indian site and burial ground.

I didn't really look at the contents too much the second time around. I just packed them i a box of the same size and sent it back, LOL

:) Would love to post on the other thread but that would give me away even though you said you have a good guess as to my identity.

Can't edit these posts but one more comment.

The necklace was not directly associated with the Serpent Mound. They had several Native American items. Arrowheads, jewelry, dream catchers, etc.

Cucezuf, I thought you could post also anonymously in the other thread, but maybe not?! Anyway, no problem about posting here.

The translation made me laugh out loud, to be honest! Most of it would have been understood, but one thing towards the end just makes no sense and is very funny, LOL. I will translate some of the German back into English for you, so you'll see! :)

a replica bear claw or a wolf claw

That does make sense! I can try take a close-up photo but usually they don't turn out too well and I'm not sure if it would help! As you seem to have guessed, I figured it might still be some weird serpent's body part LOL simply because of the Serpent Mound info! You did say it was from a shop there but I wasn't sure what they had. My guess would be bear claw, maybe wolf claw. I'm telling you, serpents with teeth like that and no one would ever go back to Serpent's Mound  :D

Too bad I didn't take a picture before I unwrapped the gifts, they were really nicely wrapped!!!
