General Lack of Participation by Carers

Hi Everyone!
I have to admit I havent posted here and perhaps that has added to this board being quiet. I would like to share what I have experienced with my partner Tonka, it the hopes this may help other partners. But Tonka is very much military, and I have been a little bit quiet as alot of his acting out is done very much in military style! I find however, PTSD symptoms are the same world round! So I will make the effort to share some of what we have been through in the hopes it helps others.
Its also nice to be able to blow off steam when the need arises!

Well Ryair. I am a military man myself, recently retired. My son with PTSD was military as well. So you would not be the only one.

Yes, we are a military family Ryair. But aside from that, we can hopefully relate to each other simply through having PTSD sufferers in the family, regardless of how they obtained PTSD.

It's strange to have a carer for me. And she's in the private section.

Cograts kathy......I look forward to getting to know you better as well. i take encouragement in your posive outcome on life, it is truly inspiing, even on my bad days and lately there have just a lot of "crazy" days............best of luck to you and your entire family.
