This year they are about the history of human food and Ultra processed foods - lecturer Chris van Tullekin. A favorite topic of mine. The lectures are aimed at children but I still like them. They always do a good job of explaining science in easy to understand ways. They are shown on the BBC. I think some of the BBC is available there?

I thought it was going to be about wild horses but it was about some horse therapy retreat and all these trauma stories emerged and I just kept trembling and watching it

Air Bud 3: World Pup while I folded an avalanche of laundry.

Something interesting about Air Bud I learned… there was a real golden retriever named Buddy that was found as a stray and learned how to play basketball, soccer, and baseball. He was discovered on the tv show America’s Funniest Home Videos and went on Letterman’s Stupid Pet Tricks several times. That dog is the one that starred in the first movie. The owner of the original Air Bud doesn’t receive royalties and is nearly homeless today due to medical debt.

Kevin DiCicco said that he's on the verge of being without a place to stay as he's nearly maxed out the 90 days he's permitted to stay at a shelter in San Diego.

I have had a life long obsession with things with 2 wheels. Currently I have 3 motorcycles and 5 bicycles. Now that I have a streaming service I watch MotoGP and hard enduro racing. The races last 1:20 plus so they are perfect for when I do the treadmill. I know, mindless, just how I like it.
