This is really a great post. I have to get back on track. I'm dealing with some sort of infection for the past 4 months and my Big Girl just got over her toe infection (sheesh, we have been messed up!) but what I want to do, especially before any surgery, is at least to get back out walking our course again.

So count us in! We walk 30 min course and I do light wts in the a.m. We will start tomorrow. I see the surgeon today and will know how long we have ;) Thanks FreakofNature!
 
Yesterday planned a 10 mile bike ride but only did 5 the wind was awful and not really safe to be on bike. Really lacking motivation still and e#getting fatter need kick into gear.

Look at it this way. You still got up and did something! Which is moving in the right direction.
 
I really want to get some new exercise DVDs. A kettleball one. I am have my eye on the Jillian Michaels one and a Bob Harper workout DVD. Those two are my favorites when it comes to making exercise DVDs. So, my plan is to run out and get the DVDs, a 15lb kettleball and to do one of the DVDs.

I really want to get some new exercise DVDs. A kettleball one.

Some very good ideas for using kettlebells on YouTube, also. The "origin o balance" people (in Australia) seem to have a really good understanding of these weights, and other types of stuff related to the "new school" of fitness.
 
I haven't heard of them. I will look them up on youtube. I love watching CharlieJamie1975 on youtube. Her body is amazing and she puts in a lot of hard work, and her workouts are killer. I know she does have a couple of kettleball works that I will do. She makes me want to go out and get a sandbag as well. But for now, I will try the kettleball.

I have Jillian Micheals 30 day shread dvd. I pushed myself out earlier for a little 3 mile jog hard work especially as feeling injured not sure what from as not donw anything weight wise but my neck, shoulder and chest are sore running hurt cause my shoulder pain. I have had neck problems for couple years so must be all related. I defintiely need to do some core and flexibility work.

I really seem to have fell out with gym at the moment but will try and go walk or on bike tomorrow weather permitting. I dare not trust myself with kettlebell no doubt injure myself more i have no upper body strength. I really need to work on my eating and get fit properly and consistent to get the body i long for as right now i hate myself i feel fat and uncomfy in my own skin.
 
I don't know ...anything that says "shred" on it right now :speechless:....I'll get back to you on this...doc's examine left me in tears dammit!!! :cautious: Don't count me out.
 
@Sazza- I did go out and buy those DVD and the kettleball DVD is intense. It will take me a little bit to get the hand of it but it is different from all her other DVDs. Also, I got her buns and tigh DVD and wow! Another good one and I haven't tried Bob's DVD Ultimate Cardio workout that I got yesterday as well but I watched part of it and it looks intense as well.

If you injured yourself then it is better to start back slowly. Take it easy.
