Yesterday did another 30 minutes, this time I did 1.75 miles (still trying to edge in and find my stride). A bit sore today in my shorter leg but the ankles are okay so far.

Found a pilates class, M-W-F evenings... that my lunch friend attends, gonna go check it out tomorrow night - that way I can have a friend in class. Sort of the buddy system.
 
Okay back from pilates class and it was lethal. Not a beginners class but two people I know attend fairly regularly and the class size was not too stressful... 10 including the instructor. So from Sunday I've got 3 days cardio and one of anerobic with some upper body. That's the plan... stick with those two for now and try to be consistent.
 
Good to see people getting into some level of fitness... as it really is essential for PTSD management.

Now Christmas and holidays, etc etc, are finished, back to daily 5km walk, then into a 2km run home... 7km daily. A nice hour plus of exercise every day will get my fitness back up to where I like it to be.
 
Today I said "I'm done with sitting around being sad. I work out now!"

Then I cried some, argued with my husband, cried some more, argued some more, got into a fit of rage in which I slapped and scratched my face, argued another bit, slapped myself in front of my husband while screaming (all that while sitting on the stationary bike; not trampling, just sitting ô.o), cried, then I got a long hug and within 20 mins it became aaaaawwwl betta and I actually worked out. Not for long, but I did all my major stuffs.

Some days my psyche likes to wear a little red nose, a curly pink wig, and a pair of really oversized shoes.

But I still worked out! Yo!
 
I got to tell ya... I was so sore today from the Wednesday night pilates class... I hurt all over. I am going again but not til Monday.

That's sounds like a really hard way to get your workout ((((Hugs for you FoN and here's a kleenex)))
 
OMG... did the 7km walk with Anthony yesterday and was walking like a duck with a stick up my b*m by the end of the day. I am sure I didn't have muscles in such places which hurt. :oops:

Off again today as soon as the rain stops. This time I am leaving my [DLMURL="http://www.skins.net/en-AU/why-skins/compression-technology.aspx"]skins[/DLMURL] on afterwards for recovery.
 
Böh, it's 00:07 here, but I gotta do a workout now. Not only because it's on schedule, but because I'm so pumped up with adrenaline... that stuff has to go somewhere.
 
Out of commission by order of my Honorable Chinese Lady (accupressure gal)... she had to put both sciatic nerves and both shoulders back in... not to mention a whole lot of rearranging on my post surgical abdomen. I can start walk/running again on Monday, and do pilates on Wednesday. :O_o:
 
I just treated myself to a gymnastics ball - for my desk and for workout - and a pair of dumbbells. My christmas present from me to myself. Still chewing around on the price tag, though. I'm a terribly cheap person when it comes to myself.

But 'ey, long term investment into my health! Maybe I'll even develop a bicep O.O And Husband will use them, too.
 
Nice to see you all enjoying your exercising. Unfortunately have not been able to go to the gym for a few weeks now. First went on holidays and came back and injured my back.

Not happy, however it is slowly getting better and hope to get back to the gym in the next week or two. Wishing you all the best with your fitness schedules. :)
