I decline most invites. This one I took though was not looking forward to it. I made some food and committed to going for a friend who was hosting. I always give myself an early out, but I stayed through the food and games and wasn't even the first person to leave. I actually enjoyed it. Now, back into my shell for a bit of rest...

Fine this was moved, but this is a long term goal I'm working on (was I supposed to list my personal goals somewhere?)...I rarely feel like being around people...this party WAS a big accomplishment for me. :( Whatever. I haven't seen most of these friends since last summer. I haven't stayed at a partly for more than one hour for probably over three years. bla bla bla

@Chava, I once posted in the Accomplishments forum (I'm guessing that's where you put this originally?) and it was moved, as I understood it, because I was posting about progress towards a goal, but hadn't actually reached the goal yet. It sounds like your post might have been moved for the same reason. I don't know if that helps.

@sun seeker ...something like that. I'm too modest and don't take anything very seriously, hence the title "little party" when it maybe should have been "major social achievement!!!" ....not my style, but ehh, whatever. As if I give a shit. I just don't know what an accomplishment is, because playing a violin concerto is easy but eating lunch or being around people for more than 15 minutes is challenging (stuff like this makes me feel so maladjusted...all the typical human activities are complicated). Anway I was really happy I not only got there but had a pretty good time. Thanks!
