The little things in life have always been special and important to hubby and I. Last night he showed me he can now begin do the little things that mean a lot, again.
I was having one of those bored moments, and we were trying to decide what we would have for supper. Chinese, Pizza, Indian, nope none of these appealed at all.
Then out of the blue HE suggested we go for walk and get fish and chips. WOW we have not done that for a few years now, and he must have seen my eyes light up at the suggestion. Not for the fish and chips, but for him suggesting the walk to go get them. When we got there they were closing, 7.30pm on a Saturday night and the chippy is closing LOL. They only had sausages and chips left, but it did not matter, we had curry sauce at home to spice them up.
We talked about it again this morning, it was not the chips that counted, it was the walk He suggested that made it so special for me, and he could see it again this morning.
These little things do not happen often, but when they do, they stay in your memory for a long time.
Has anyone else got any of these "Little Important Times" that you remember. They can help keep you connected when times get tough.
