Hey Warriors,
It's been a crazy few weeks of work and then more work. I got to take my dog Hank to work with me for a few days and it was bliss! At lunch time I took him to the park and we ran. He's up to 5kms with me now.

Not much other activity other than running because I have been taking a lot of work. I feel a bit 'spongy' so this weekend I will be heading out for some long distance running. I have been averaging about 12k a day - a bit more when I run with Hank.

My neighbour wants to take Hank over to her house and I feel ok about that. She just got a new TV so she wants to watch some movies while she cuddles Hank. I trust her to take care of him well and she really, really loves Hank.

I found a summer hockey league and I am going to check it out. I am also lifting weights which I can do from home - I am thinking of moving my weight bench and weights into the backyard and work outside!

Off for a quick run. Take good care!

I've been doing the exercise program at the Senior Center now for awhile again, as well as my physical therapy exercises. I have to do the program standing up now, instead of sitting like everyone else. Since I have Sciatica, it is hard to sit for any length of time. I sit on a pillow and bring it everywhere with me, I don't care what people think! But I prefer to do our exercise program standing. My Sciatica does not hurt when I stand up or lay down, so exercising standing up is easier and less painful for me. Plus, I think I get a better work out that way too.

No sport yet today...still cleaning the flat. :p

I went swimming in the sea this morning, at a very secret and secluded beach, only accessible to mountain goats and rock climbers. No wet suit, in fact nothing at all, nobody there to see me.

The sea is still quite cold here, for me anyway so it took half an hour to work my way in, over coming the aches caused by the cold water.

But once I was in it was beautiful. I spent 30 mins swimming back and forth scross the small cove, the water clear aqua marine.

It took me another 30 mins to stop shaking with cold when I got out. Had a sunbathe on the rocks and then left to find a cafe and a warming coffee.

@Mit -- despite the cold, that sounds beautiful and peaceful and invigorating.

Had my first Muay Thai (as opposed to kickboxing) class last night, and instead of the expected 45-50 minutes, the class was a full 90 minutes long. On the plus side, I got through it, a new group of people, a new instructor, and a completely new class structure. On the minus side, holy cow I think I have to relearn everything I ever learned!
