Hi @Ms Spock
Then my friends chipped in and got me this for a birthday gift and it's been fantastic. There are other vest options like this and probably not as expensive...

Thanks!

I have a hydration pack that I run with as well.
I coveted the ultimate direction but wound up with a Nathan which fit me better personally.
Thanks!

I walked 13.9 km this morning - straight up. I really felt it from about half way through. We walked 3 hours and forty minutes.
I did almost two hours breathing/mindfulness meditation this morning which helps my body so much.
I did Semi supine x 2. (Alexander Technique!)

Still not feeling better. Extreme fatigue and muscle weakness is not a good foundation for a workout. :hungover: Luckily this is not my first rodeo on the thyroid ride. I feel I handle it much better then before. The first few times i crashed in hypothyroid state were much more scary.

Only did a few sets of push-ups and curls and live to lift another day.

Sure @Flossy I will find out some details and get back to you. I need to find someone up here as well.

The Alexander Technique is difficult to describe. It is about gradually and very subtlely gaining more and more awareness of your body by doing various exercises. Though they are not done like normal exercises so that is not an accurate description. It is doing movements and being very aware and mindful of the movements. It is an accumulative effect.

You give your body directions, that is you think through what you want your muscles to do but you don't force or do the physical movement and it does change how your body moves a bit.

The below is a book that I do the audio to each day. "Body, Breath and Being: A New Guide to the Alexander Technique" by Carolyn Nicholls. Seeing a teacher for periodic lessons helps them guide you out of your habitual body patterns. The breathing exercises in this book are very helpful for me.

Crawling for Adults is about weight bearing on over use in arms and releasing an uptight and frozen thoracic region. I do it to the audio.

Saturday was a rest day - I had a lot of work later that evening so I took the day off. And then I didn't get home until the wee hours of the morning so I grabbed a quick 7k on the treadmill.

Monday-Tuesday back to Insanity! Loving it but I have a bit of a sore back from the work this weekend which seemed . Probably going to take it easy tonight.
