Thanks for your supportive words on my run. I have been working so much and had been waiting for a chance to have some time to myself to log in.

Hockey has started - woo hoo!! I will really have to learn how to stop better (knees are reminding me we're not getting any younger ; ) )

The weather here has been glorious - I treated Hank to a Halloween run through the park here and the community centre was doing a special thing for the kids. The kids were outside enjoying seeing the costumes and pumpkins.

One of the kids wanted to give Hank a chocolate bar which was very kind of him and I thanked him and then explained that there are some foods that dogs can't eat and I asked him if I could have it instead. He wasn't so sure but after he patted Hank a few times he decided I was ok enough to have the chocolate bar.

When Hank and I got to the hot dog cart, I bought him his hot dog and I had my chocolate. We sat for a while and watched the kids.

I have been back to cycling a bit too since the weather has been so nice.

Wanted to say hi to everyone and I will be back soon with more reports. Just going now to ice my knees.

@City Slicker : So glad to read from you. I hope your kneets are better now. :giggle:;) ...and so glad to hear that Hank is also fine.

Thanks @Anrish - I am getting my feet back on the ground after an 'exciting' few weeks (I wrote a post in my thread about Hank about what he's been up to)

Hockey practise tonight but I will be back shortly.

Ok so now I am looking for some of that gorilla tape - you know that tape that is supposed to solve the problems of all the body parts falling off. I had some tape that my sister got me one year for Christmas and when I went to finally use it, it had almost dissolved.

Knees are really chattery tonight and I am having a bit of fun calling Hank over so I can lean on him to stand up lol. It's not quite that bad but I am feeling twice my age tonight that's for sure - and it doesn't help that most of the players on my squad are half my age!!

Loving it though and loving the aches and pains even.

@Anrish, you are my hero! Look at you go. That's awesome, truly and I am hoping this weekend to do a few sessions of Yoga Nidra.
