Late night short treadmill run last night and today getting ready for an outside 12-14k. Cloudy with no sunshine here. Dragging my arse this morning without the sunshine but just had a hydrolyzed protein shake so I will feel my 'sunshine' shortly.
 
2.5 km power walking. I changed walking routes and thought of loved one so that helped me a lot to keep going on this. I am so thankful that there was less traffic today, otherwise would have been very difficult to make it happen as I was feeling shaky in the morning.
 
I achieved my 25k run goal.

I hear people talking about how their minds go somewhere else when they work out and how restful it is. I find when I run it's my time to meditate. I am able to think about problems and strategies and ways to approach things because my mind knows this is our time to work on things. I can also put things off until my runs because my mind and soul 'trusts' that I will pay attention to what I need to and there is a time for everything and 'we' will work out whatever needs to be addressed.

lol, it's kind of like 'date night' only it is with myself and with running as the 'date'.

Now Krav Maga, P90X and a few other sports, well, that's entirely different thing. Pure physical exertion - no meditation, no thought, no strategies, just trying not to faint or puke!
