I know some people think it can't grow back. I believe it will.
Mine was due to stress and my thyroid, but it did grow back. My hairstylist was the one to find the new growth and point it out to me. Much to my relief since my mom had thinning hair as she got older.
restricted, undressed salad
Are you able to have lemon? I use to squeeze lemons on my salad, instead of any dressing, and it gave it a decent taste.
When I had my ulcers there was so much I couldn't eat that there were few choices. I couldn't have raw fruit or veggies and nothing with seeds. So, one time, when my grandma made strawberry shortcake for everyone, she peeled and cooked the strawberries for me. :D Anyhow, I had to be on the very strict diet for a year, no spices either. When I finally went back to "regular" eating, my metabolism was great, but my food tastes had definitely changed. Things I once liked didn't taste as good to me. It was so odd.
Yes, I wasn't sure about that article. I don't like it when people are extreme in any direction. I hadn't had a chance to research it. Just thought I'd put it out there for you to check into.
I'm glad you found what was good for you. I imagine some of it is trial and error. My niece can't have anything with gluten in it, so I bought her gluten free cookies for Christmas. I've often thought of being tested for food allergies as I know it can manifest in various ways. So this is all very interesting for me to read, though I am sorry you are going through it.
