I like what she said about trying to work through PTSD: "if you are doing these hard things but having feelings about it and processing it and like moving through it and moving on and admitting that you have vulnerabilities, I think that's more badass"
I liked it so much I went to Amazon to read what I could.
The Prologue triggered me pretty badly. It was stupid of me, I was already having an "I can't make coffeecake" kind of day. That made it worse.

I WANT to read this but I don't think I can.
Anyone else heard of this book? Thoughts?
 
I haven't but will check it out later this morning. Thanks desi. I have had books (Peter Levine specifically) trigger me as well. Arrrrghhh!
 
I've never heard of it. But I avoid reading books that have descriptions of abuse as I find my response so disturbing. Some authors recognise this - Jasmin Lee Cori - for instance and I appreciate their insight into my experience
