It's a crap shoot. VFW has the best track record but it's still the luck of the draw if you get a decent VSO. Many Vet websites advocate doing it yourself but I think back about all the problems I had with the beast and trying to understand the regs, I dunno.
The only thing that moved me forward was getting a favorable remand from the BVA with instructions to award. Then the Phoenix R.O. sat on it for two years.
