Med Options For Sleep?

In those times I am having a problem falling asleep or staying asleep, 25-100mg of trazodone does the trick nicely. That’s not often, though.

Paradoxically, I have found that Dexedrine will allow me to sleep.

I don’t get nightmares, thankfully. Sleep is when I dream of worlds where odd and beautiful things happen. That’s where I escape to.

Have you tried rozerem? Ambien worked well for a while but I started getting drunk on it (I'm an alcoholic, so that wasn't cool). Lunesta is supposedly not addictive. That helped me sleep but I had some uncommon side effects, so it's just pretty individual. I've taken temazepam too (a benzo, so I was careful to not take it every day and increase dependence). A really good, non-addictive one for me has been the rozerem. It's rarely mentioned, but it's subtle and helps me fall asleep. Not sure if it would help with nightmares...I just haven't had them for a while, regardless of which med I was on. Hormone pills actually made my nightmares loads worse, so it helped for me to get off of them (but I think I am weirdly hyper-sensitive to hormone medications).
