It is hard to accept that we will be missed if we disappear - the wonderful low sef esteem and unworthyness (don't even know if that is a word.

A lot of people here have supported, helped and cared for me, I believe it would be wrong for me to therefore just up and go. I also feel they are my friends and in my book friends shouldn't just go.

I think I know who you mean, ISH. I'm guessing she's ok-it's just a guess, though based on things way too long to get into. Yes, I worry about people too-it is genuinely lovely to hear members checking back in, knowing life has grown with them, not on top of them any more. Once in awhile when logging in, I'll see a member name listed I haven't seen for ages on that list of folks who are logged in and know they're at least browsing. It's nice.

I know I just drifted away for a while there. xD I've just been finding things that fulfill me and keep me busy for now. A lot of women graduated from the group I am in and it is much smaller now, as a result I am not afraid to speak up and actually get to do so a lot more.
Also, I've joined a writing website and try to keep up with the contests on there. They are a lot of fun. :) As well, I have been making more beaded jewelry for when mom and I open up our booth down at the crafters mall. :3

I shall try to keep up with this board though. <3

I’ve been involved in many boards and a few of those discouraged Goodbye threads. I don’t really know why because like the rest of you, I like to hear from people who haven’t been around much and who may have been struggling.

Speaking for myself. I’ve been doing much better and so just pop in from time to time to catch up on how others are doing.

So take care everyone and have a good week.

There is a suicide forum that has a "checking in" thread that allows members who haven't posted in a while to "check in" so that everybody knows they're still alive and not to worry!

The thread is nothing but pages of people saying "I'm okay" or "still alive, just busy!". It's called "Just Say Something..." LOL

Perhaps something like that would be good for a forum like this.

This is a very good board. You should be proud of yourself. I’m psych-doc free and meds free thanks to boards like this one so full of information as well as support and encouragement. Thanks for allowing me to continue visiting. All the very best to you and yours.

When I was in most need of this place I was unaware of its existence. I was looking for information when I stumbled across the site and found I could relate to so many here and started posting. I feel I have now come through the other side of PTSD but feel I should post now and again to let others know that better times can be achieved. This site is a life raft that can offer hope and direction to those who are drowning in a sea of uncertainly and fear.

For me, I so appreciate having the company and it's part of my "morning routine". I look forward to being reminded I'm not alone in this journey. I am rarely on more than in the mornings as the rest of the day the rest of the world around me wakes up.

I feel it's important for me to find continuity and each time I read an accomplishment I feel rejoice and grateful I can share in that.

If I went, I'm miss having coffee with a friend in Canada and lots of others as well. I do feel well, but these are my friends.

i love my computer cos my friends live in it.webp
