Hey guys...so...I may have said something to my new parenting teacher that I shouldn't have. We met a couple days ago and she was talking about my family court case and since she has a consent form she told me shes gonna be contacting my lawyer to see if I can get access and visitations to see my son. Here's the problem..as of March 27th I will have access and visitation rights to my son..if my parenting teacher finds out that I am gonna be having what I need and that I wont be in court anymore their gonna drop me from the program. They will only help if you are in court. I won't be as of March 27th. How do I tell my parenting teacher this? I really wanna continue to do one on one parenting with her so that I know what I'm doing if I ever get pregnant again plus its court ordered that I take parenting. I'm so scared for my appointment on Monday. What if shes already called my lawyer and found out? Any advice would be really appreciated.

Get a note to the judge that the parenting classes have helped you and you want to continue them. The judge may just simple make the continuation and completion a condition of the closing of your case.

or Go to court and explain what you just said "that you were getting a lot of good parenting skills and want to continue but can't once the court case ends. The just can probably mark the case as resolved but parenting class are required to some specific date. Where the case then gets closed.

Its probably the only way to get this done, and a judge wants you to succeed and will see this a good effort on your part.

That's just the thing, I'm supposed to start my parenting classes with her on Monday. I only had the meet and greet with her. I really don't want them to drop me from the program. I haven't even really started yet.

Still since you can only get it thru the court that's your only option. You might try to get a not or a letter to the judge. If the judge can help thru the court then your set, keep in mind they want "good parents" in the family court. Anyone who asks for parenting classes willingly should be seen as a good thing in family court.
