I had a bad time due to side effects from a few other inhibitors they prescribed me one being citalopram.
Was turned off by the whole idea. Then a doctor told me that, "In Asian culture, you are either crazy or you're not." Still don't know what to think of that. But, I agreed to try another. They put me on a small dosage of Venlafaxine 37.5mg.
Been on that for a little over a month. I get out more, care less about things. Definitely not a complete fix. But it gives me a small boost in social situations that I was seriously lacking. That mixed with talking to a psychologist.
I have a buddy who tried went through many different prescriptions before they found one that helped out.
