Firstly, please keep this thread on topic. If you want to discuss the merits/downfalls of alternative medicines, you are welcome to do so - but please start a new thread to discuss this.
Secondly, please don't take a disagreement of opinions as something personal. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a healthy debate about a subject, so long a things don't get personal, or attacking in nature.
Just because someone has a different opinion to you, it doesn't necessarily make them a bad person. Nor does it give you the right to attack them by your own interpretation.
Everyone (all members in all threads) need to stick with the facts of what has been said. If you need clarification about something, then please ask, rather than jump to conclusions. It is often very difficult to get the intended tone across in a written response. If you are unclear about something, please ask. If you feel angry or devalued then say so . . . but in a calm way, stating your reasons why, and asking for clarifications.
The world is full of different people, with different thought processes, different beliefs and different opinions. There is absolutely no reason why we can't all share those differences whilst respecting each other. We all have sexual abuse in common, isn't that heartbreaking enough, without falling out amongst ourselves, over other things?
Honestly, healthy debates about any subject are really important. Debating is a great tool for building self esteem, learning about yourself and the world, standing up for your beliefs, and engaging with diverse people. It's hugely important, especially in a community of people who have been silenced, who lack self esteem, who are often scared to say what they are thinking.
However, as I have already stated, if anyone wants to continue a discussion about alternative medicine Vs conventional medicine, then please start a new thread, in order to keep this thread on topic.

Naides - having an opinion about something is not arrogance, it's just an opinion. No-one called you a quack, or insulted you, brucielucy simply stated a difference of opinion.Your arrogance astounds me. . . . . .Do your homework before you start insulting me as some kind of a quack.
I respectfully disagree.
