Maybe you might have to invest your energy in finding forgiveness as some things cannot be changed as we have no control. You deserve peace and finding forgiveness may not be exactly what you wanted but perhaps a healthy compromise?

I don't know enough of what you're going through with this to say anything other than part of what Nicolette said, which is the you deserve peace part. At least I know that much, so can an do wish it for you.
