Maybe there's a reason they call them springer spaniels?!;):)

Errrr....slip him some valium! NO, only joking!Any ideas how to keep a springer spaniel/collie cross quiet would be appreciated
i can hear her quickly curling up into a ball as if to say "no no, I wasn't, see, I'm asleep, right?"

It is funny, but as soon as I hear him licking, I shout, 'you'll make it sore' and he stops. This is even more funny when I am not in the same room, because when I shout then, he stops, and looks around as if to say WTF, how did she know:roflmao:.
Geez they're funny aren't they. I am hypersensitive to my dog licking or chewing herself (actually it's a horrible trigger for me, hence my oversensitivity) and can generally hear this even from the next room. Just yelling "what are you doing..." or something similar is enough and i can hear her quickly curling up into a ball as if to say "no no, I wasn't, see, I'm asleep, right?"
