My Name's Francis And My Husband Has Ptsd...

Hi, my name is francis and I'm married to a wonderful man. He is my match in every way and I love him dearly. But he has ptsd and it is hurting our marriage. I have educated myself on ptsd and I have done two class assignments on the topic. But no amount of research has helped me understand how he feels. My husband has left me numerous times because of emotional numbing and he always came back. I decided to join this site so I could have some support and hopefully finds better ways to deal. I want my marriage to work but I really do not know how to handle the fighting. Its awful and it hurts so bad because my husband really is the sweetest man so its hard to hear him speak to me like this. He is seeing a therapist for ptsd,going to group therapy, and we see a marriage counselor once a week. Can't wait to get to know y'all. Thanks

Thanks for the warm welcome yall! Yes it is extremely hard on me. Yes talking about it is very helpful! But my friends don't want to hear about this constantly lol. So I came to yall. Hopefully I meet some good friends here and be able to get a handle on my life... I'm just happy to know I'm not alone anymore...
