My New Cat

Me too! Hubs and I are going to wait a few weeks for the adjustment period and then foster here and there to save more.

StrongerNow, that is just wonderful! We got both of our cats from a shelter, years apart. He looks like a magnificent animal. I couldn't imagine my life without ours.

My son's has his funny antics and we consider him the dangerous one of the two since he likes to jump onto people's shoulders when least expecting it. The other one is older, and he is my baby. He sleeps between me and the dog or me and the husband. When I use to nurse my son, he would try to get in between there. For the most part he likes curling up in my arms by my head.

They are such beautiful creatures.

I brought him home like an hour ago. He hid under the seat in the car and slept on the drive home. I know I should've put him in a cage, but I promised him that he would never be caged again.

As soon as I brought him inside, he ran under the couch. He came out once to eat. I fed him ocean whitefish tender bites with some dry food. He scarfed it down and back under the couch he went.

I figure he will come out when he feels ready. He just needs some time to feel safe again. Here is a new photo of him attached.

P.S. Right when I was typing this, he came out. He is slowly navigating the living room from under the coffee table. :D

I got out a toy with a noise in it and he ran back under the couch!

Poor thing is so scared :(

He has been out playing now for a couple of hours :D

He is so spunky! I wiped him down with grooming wipes, put his new collar on, and he is exploring the rest of the house now.

He loves watching the TV. He looks at it so intently and then runs up under it to figure out where the sound is coming from :)
