Need Support And Suggestions Desperately

I have hit rock bottom today and need a crash course of reminders of coping tools to keep my mind distracted and off of my problems. I will have two friends checking up on me today. My mind has gone blank, what best works to lift your spirits when you are really bad off? I need a list of things to do to distract me and keep my mind off of my problems. The best thing my friend told me when she was here that I am going to be okay and I repeated that and it did really help some. I am in crises mode right now and will call a hot line later on.
 
Gizmo, I am sorry you are feeling this way and I know how it feels. If you have time now, call the crisis line. Also trying to push the thoughts away sometimes makes it harder. You could practice your breathing. You could do some meditation. Try grounding. Check your energy level? Are you up to doing some exercise or take a walk? Tackle a project? Do you like to read? Are you up to doing that? I hope you find something that helps. Please let us know how you are doing. Hugs.
 
Gizmo, I am sorry your having such a rough day. I am struggling today myself. I don't know if you have any pets, but my cat has been sensitive to me today. Talking to her and holding her has helped. I guess there are things like showers, puzzles, coloring, cooking, utilizing your five senses, going for a walk....things i should be doing, but haven't brought myself to it you could do to cope. I hope you Feel better soon friend. Good job reaching out.
 
Bless you @Mim28 breathing exercises are good to do so I will do that. My energy level is low today want to crawl under a rock. I will call the crises line. I am trying to online and have contact with people because that seems to help the most. Your response made me feel better. I am just desperately reaching out for human contact right now because that seems to help the most. Having contact with you guys is really helping me so much. I want to try later on to get out of here. Many hugs of appreciation to your quick response.:hug:

Bless you @trying2movefwd for your quick response I will take a shower later I am just now trying to get my energy levels up. Contact with you guys is helping me very much. Slowly I am feeling myself coming up for air. I am sorry that you are struggling right now too.:hug: I will light some incense and allow the feelings of knowing that I am going to be okay help lift me up. Very low energy level but I do feel it rising, distractions really help.

We are in the most beautiful place in the forest. We know we are safe. Its just a feeling we have..but we are safe.
We are awestruck by the beauty of it all. The smell of flowers we've never seen,the earthy smell of the forest floor. And we are safe and it's going to be ok.
You and I will find a beautiful comfortable place to set in the fragrant grass.
And just BE. Breathe in the wonderful smells. Let your eyes be surprised at the beautiful colors.
We are safe and everthing will be ok.
Lets just set here awhile. Drink our fresh water and relax...and know we are safe and we will be ok.

@Bristol1485 much gratitude to your response. i have no pets sadly because I know that would help so much. I have coloring books and pens and will try that but the thing that seems to help the most is good old fashioned support from you guys. You are actually breathing life back into me.:hug:
 
@ladee bless your heart that was so beautiful and uplifting. No one has ever done that for me before and it really helped. I can feel my spirits lifitng as I type. I will reread these throughout the day and draw on all of your honest helps to me. :hug:

One of tge few things I ever remember when I'm feeling v low is to smell some kind of scent that I love
So glad to read you've reached out for help, havw friends checking on you, a plan to call a crisis line and especiallt that you're feeling comforted by everyone here
