I don't understand where all the adults are in this. Why aren't your mum and dad protecting you from having to go to the same school as this guy? They sound like my mum, she hasn't got that protective instinct I have. Why is the principal not protecting his students? Having to go the same school as this bloke seems like abuse to me. I feel sorry for you that the adults haven't stepped up on this occasion.

I reccommend to change schools. You don't deserve to have to see him all the time. I know about being brave. There are times staying where someone is is going to be brave, and there are times leaving where someone is is being brave. I think it is a time to leave the vicinity of this person.

Sorry, but there is no such thing as a non-lethal length of blade. Hit an artery, and it kills. There are many arteries close to the suface of the skin. Just feel your pulse points to know this is true. I'm not saying don't carry a blade (unless it's illegal) - but if you choose to carry a blade of any length, and use it, then you have to be prepared for the consequences that you could kill someone, or they could turn the weapon on you, and kill I things.
CB, I meant to say "illegal" on the length of the blade. Thank you for the correction. I grew up with knives and they are a part of my culture as they are of my son's, his father's, and my grandson's.Having been without my person knife, I experienced up close and personal the flip side evil use of a beautiful piece of weaponry. I am likely never to forget.

I am acutely aware of any and all consequences of the legal ramifications of taking the life of another human being. I appreciate your concern and reminder of this harsh and solid reality. I believe that it is an important reminder for anyone who carries a weapon of any kind.

Oh HL your explanation makes all the difference. I understand now. I honestly thought that someone, somewhere had classified blade lengths as to what could be classed as lethal or not. I was quite shocked by this idea, hence my response :lmao:.

They're protecting me. And changing schools isn't what I want, that would just be running away.
Great attitude, HealingOne. I'm glad you feel protected. Stick with your positive attitude. But if he does anything to freak you out - even just looking at you funny, tell a teacher, your parents, or at least a friend, that way everyone can keep looking out for you, and you are being responsible in looking out for yourself.

Hi HealingOne!

If you keep a written list of the things he does: bumping into you, glaring, etc... with the date, time and location... over time that list of "small, insignificant interactions" (not), build up into a pattern that can definately prove bullying / stalking / harrassment behavior that can be believed, proven, prosecuted. Showing the pattern and numerous interactions is important.

A written log (Who, What, Why, When, Where) can be fantastic and help the school, police and a judge protect you even better.

I know from experience how (kept up over time) important these logs are in order to give authorities the legal ability to get someone like him out of your life.
With deep concern and caring,
Deer

I have been running away from my own fears. I think your right, when you realise that they can hurt you, but not hurt your spirit, you are a truly a survivor. So strong are you, keep on with that your on the right path. You are making people stronger. : )

I think that you do have to keep making sure the abuse doesn't turn into something else, like harrassment, which it does with these abusive individuals. That can be just as damaging because it can be linked in the memory to the abuse and cause a timebomb for later. I think that is my fear for you.

Just to add a note to what Deer has said. If you can, try to add a witness each time something happens, even if it seems like such a minor event. That way no-one can say anything against you should anything come of it.

I so agree with keeping a log of these incidents, the reason being is that the authorities like documents with times and dates so that they can say that no matter what the "Plea Agreement" he is harassing/bullying you and that is against the law. I know you don't want him to push you out of the school and to face your fears, I get that, so my suggestion would be to not allow him to keep traumatizing you with the contact. It's wrong and you don't have to take it, that's my opinion for what's it's worth.

Sending peace and strength.
