Neurotin?

Has anyone been on Neurotin? It is for the neuro effects but it can cause emotional problems like I need any more of those!! Scared to take it..........

I've been on Neurotin. What are you taking it for?

I've taken it, I would suggest regular blood work like with any medication. I'm not sure what you are taking it for but it was prescribed for neuro pain. I found it helped in other ways, for me. I liked it but had some other issues with it, nothing I found unpleasant but I had to watch my diet and exercise closely.

As always all medications vary from person to person. I would read up on it extensively.

They say it is supposed to work on pain issues. Like MANY with PTSD........we have these weird pain syndromes. Very distressing.

I hear it can make you emotional? I will read up about it and ask the Pharm. I hate meds. They always make me feel worse. I may not take it.

I was prescribed Neurotin because they said it can work the same as anti-anxiety meds. without the addictive qualities. I didn't find that it worked like an anti-anxiety med. at all. So, I stopped taking it.
