Well done for taking the steps to find a diagnosis and support :tup: - it can be so hard if it's early days for you. Try to be patient and generous with yourself when you know you're having a bad day. I'm new to the forum too and hoping to find great encouragement from others. There's so much to read and absorb on here... experiences of abuse may be stressful to write / read, but it's a healing process in itself to be honest to a bunch of like-minded strangers with a pseudonym. We all express ourselves in different ways so try a creative way to release energy, going for a walk or a run, painting, yoga. If you feel you have body issues, something physical is good for self confidence and empowerment, not to mention your health if you feel low.
I'm personally using the 'one day at a time' approach and trying to reward myself when I've had a bad day/ week.
