BTW, as Army Air Corps, deployed with the Army, I cherish my ARCOM more than most the shit I got from the AAC, beside the Air Medals, just sayin. Some bling holds more value to each person, it has nothing to do with the actual ratings once we're out on the streets.

Right. I have a 3ID Distinguished Soldier Award (forgot why I got it), but, over time became my favorite. It's a small thing, the blue and white surrounded by a silver wreath. I started putting it on my lapel anytime big things were happening, just for my personal devotion. After a while, it became THE thing.

I have a really tacky, cheap "medal" from the State Department. The ugliest piece of crap I was ever given (tried to trade it w/viking for SOS).

Best to worst spectrum.
