Okay, well, very hard for me to comment on what I can't see from him. All I can say is that history often repeats itself, it does not matter whether you have PTSD or not. We all deserve good, loving , nurturing relationships. This doesn't sound like it. Time to explore with a therapist why you are sabotaging your own happiness.
And on Mom calling at work - under no circumstances accept her calls. Thirty times? Tell her nicely that you will not. Then do it. She may rant, she may rave, but she will get it. Eventually. And do not feel one iota of guilt. Your job is your job, your link to the outside world and the payer of your bills, and maybe even your sanity at times. No one has the right to come between you and it.
