I think he is trying to deal with it on his own. We've only been together for 5 months, and it's not as if we were living together or ready to be married. No, we don't have any common FB friends that I know of. I know his son is on there, but I don't know him. I'll look into the book, thank you.... And see what happens.

Thanks to those who replied to my previous posts. I am very happy to say that my boyfriend came back to me today and we will begin learning how to deal with this together for the future.

Hi Delta..I am almost the exact same scenario as you were in..4 months, just told me about ptsd, not spoken except for one short text in 2 weeks. How did your BF eventually come back to you? And was he apologetic, sad?

Hi Amber,

Mine told me about it in the beginning of our relationship. This episode as I call it, lasted about 3 weeks. One morning he just replied to one of the texts I sent him. I cried when I got the text. I went to see him and we talked about it with him answering my questions. He said he was past it and seems like he's getting back to normal. We spent time together on his birthday this past Monday and had a good night. We've talked every day since he "came back" on the 5th. I hope your situation works out.
